New! The City of Covington recently launched the mobile parking app, PassportParking®. The innovative technology allows users the option to conveniently pay for metered parking using their phone. The PassportParking app is free and available for download at the App Store and Google Play. It is important for users to note, there is a $.25 convenience fee with each parking purchase. Permit Application & Program Brochure
Residential Parking Permits are available on an annual basis to residents of the Parking Program Area for $25 each, which includes one visitor pass. A maximum of two permits and two visitor passes are allowed per household, per year. These passes are valid for the calendar year in which they are issued, renewable annually, and are coded to each resident/address or police verification purposes. Permits are window stickers, which should be placed in the rear window on the driver’s side of the resident’s vehicle. Residents who do not purchase Resident Parking Permits must comply with on-street signage requirements.
