Tai Chi Testimonial:
"Thank you, thank you!! City of Covington for providing the free Tai Chi class for Seniors. After back surgery some years ago and a more recent diagnosis of osteoporosis, my Doctor recommended that a Tai Chi class would be helpful. It has been shown, through research, that Tai Chi can improve bone strength. I have been attending the class since it started and it has made a remarkable difference in my general well-being. Meditation and movement has improved my strength, breathing, balance and my state of mind. Our instructor is very good at supporting each member of the class to adjust to what works for them. "If it hurts, don't do it!" or "try this way so it doesn't hurt". The class meets at 10 A.M. on Monday mornings at Latonia Baptist Church. I hope you will come and give it a try. Namaste."
- Sandy Kerlin, Senior Tai Chi participant
