Park Activity Permit Application


A Park Activity Permit is required for any organized activity at City-owned green spaces and shelters. A permit is required to reserve picnic shelters or any other space within a public park for your personal use. Examples of personal use include: photo shoots, birthday parties, wedding receptions, family reunions, company picnics and other gatherings. Reservations are made on a first-come first-served basis and permits should be submitted as early as possible. 

Please contact the Parks & Recreation Office at 859-292-2151 prior to filling out the permit application paperwork to confirm specific date and location availability.

Note: The intake time for park permit applications is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
