Accident Report Copy
Please use this request to obtain a copy of an Accident Report. Only involved parties (Driver, Owner, Insurance company, Attorney for one of the involved parties) can receive copies of Accident Reports.
To receive a copy of an accident report, please visit the Covington Police Department between 12 and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a fee of $5.

EMS Run Report Copy
All requests for EMS Run Records should be directed to the Covington Fire Department. A free copy can be obtained by patients in person at Company 1, 100 East Robbins St., Covington, KY 41011 or a copy can be mailed for a fee of $2.00. Records cannot be e-mailed or faxed.
Attorneys requesting EMS Run Reports must have a HIPPA release form.

Fire Report Copy
If you would like to receive an official fire report on a recent fire, please contact Business Analyst Misty Haas at 859-431-0462 or email your request to mhaas@covingtonky.gov. All Fire Reports must be picked up in person at Fire Station Company No. 1 located at 100 East Robbins Street.

Open Records Request
For all requests to inspect or receive copies of public documents, a written and signed request must be submitted to the City Clerk by mail, fax, or hand delivery. All requests will receive acknowledgement within three days of the request.

Police Report Request
You can receive a copy of a police report at the Covington Police Department between 12 and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you are listed as an involved party on the Incident Report you may obtain a copy of the report for free. All other parties must file an Open Records Request and will be charged $0.10 per page.
